NAKURU'S NAKINFO - A PUBLIC INFORMATION SERVICE AT A LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL

The Local Urban Observatory in Nakuru, Kenya, has developed an electronic information system called NakInfo. NakInfo is a geospatial information database that is available to the public. The objective of the Local Urban Observatory (LUO) is to make residents aware of public services delivery by the local government authority, the Municipal Council of Nakuru. LUO is participating in the programme “ICT in Local Government” of the Kenya ICT Federation and the Innovation Africa Trust, with the Ministry of Local Government and the e-Government Directorate (Office of the President) (Kenya).
